Hi all my name is Grant or better known as Zygore.

Since a very young age I have had an interest in art and found myself drawing and painting at every opportunity I got, unfortunately, the only chance to study art was after my schooling ended, I then became a draughtsman for a few years, this proved to be totally unsatisfactory and outright boring, so with no chance of ever growing I became a graphic artist and website developer and the natural progression led me to become a software developer and an IT director. This may seem to be as far from art as one could get, but in a sense, software development is an art, just a practical and functional one with a lot of graphic design thrown in.

And then one day I had a ‘Light Bulb’ moment and decided that enough was enough and I needed to do something for myself and work on something I truly believe in, my art and this website.
I work in many different art mediums to achieve the final results that I have envisioned for a piece, subject or that which best meets a client's needs. I work in pencil, ink, watercolors, oils, acrylics, airbrushing and sculpture. I work in all styles of art to meet the clients wishes and to satisfy my hunger to create art that speak to all people on a different level.
I enjoy doing commission work for others as this gives me great satisfaction to bring someone's ideas to life.”

I have been using the name Zygore for a long time (1980s) that’s right people the original creator of the name, derived from (Zion - An idealized, harmonious community; utopia and Gore - Blood, especially coagulated blood from a wound, in essence holy blood.)

This is a project that I had the pleasure of working on with a talented group of people in New Zealand. I donated my time and created the artwork for the buildings, props and backdrops for this children’s music video.
